Do you like the taste of box cake mix but want to make it taste better? This is an easy recipe that makes a little extra batter and makes a super moist cake. Try the following recipe with any box cake mix:
Ingredients
1 box cake mix
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/3 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla (or flavoring of your choice)
8 oz container sour cream
3 whole eggs
Directions
1. Combine cake mix, flour, sugar and salt in large mixer bowl. Beat on low while greasing two 8″ cake pans or lining pan for one dozen cupcakes.
2. Gradually add water, oil, vanilla, sour cream and eggs.
3. Pour in prepared pans and bake on 325 F for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Do Not Overbake!
